The budget build XJ multi purpose rig!
This Cherokee originally came in to us for a simple frame stiffener, 8.8 swap, d30 build, tires, and beadlocks, and maintenance with the plans to stay as a functional rig for mud and hunting in Florida. We invited the owner with us to Hawk Pride, AL, and it was downhill from there. After all sorts of body damage (which none of it was fixed of course), the owner continued going on more out of state trips, and eventually D44 swapping the front, and fully caging the XJ. The XJ has been flopped over 5 times and keeps up with some of the most built/expensive rigs on the hardest trails! Here’s a build sheet and more pictures to enjoy!
